D.G.P. (Daily Grammar Practice) InformationUpon entering the classroom, students work independently on analyzing a specific component of a sentence (dependant upon the day of the week). After five minutes of work, we write and discuss the correct answers. Students are not expected to get every component correct on the first try. However, students are expected to correct their answers during the review (not doing so would make the exercise meaningless). Once we complete a sentence (which takes five days / one week), D.G.P. sheets are collected and assigned one of two grades -- 10/10 or 0/10 based on the student's ability to follow directions and make corrections, not on how many components were correct on the first try (as in an actual quiz or test).
